Cat Bells & Maiden Moor
Taken on my first visit to Dodd Wood. I knew that the view from the track that takes you up and around Dodd was going to be fantastic and it didn’t disappoint. I picked a day in which there was heavy cloud but with breaks in the hope of being able to capture crepuscular rays of light on the landscape. My camera set up on the tripod and waiting in anticipation. Then this monumental beam of light came out of nowhere! It stayed there for a good minute or so, plenty of time for me to capture it.
