Langdale Pikes from Lingmoor Fell
This wall is a great leading line over to the Langdale Pikes. But what makes this capture a little more unique for me is the glorious heather, together with the mist from the mornings temperature inversion. This was taken a couple of hours after the sun had risen and the mist was finally starting to disperse. It was much lower in the valley as the sun came up but now it was almost engulfing Side Pike (off centre).
