Skiddaw from Blencathra
After a long climb up the eastern side of Blencathra, I was rewarded with this glorious view. The cloud was thick during my ascents but as I got nearer to the summit, the cloud stated to clear leaving these beautiful cumulus cloud formations, together with crepuscular rays breaking through them. I used the long edge which runs away from the summit in this panoramic to lead the viewers eye over towards Grisedale Pike and then back across the might Skiddaw.
