Skiddaw Sunset from Binsey
I made my way over to Binsey to capture a sunset on Skiddaw. The cloud was perfect for a sunset and as I climbed up Binsey I could see that there was no low cloud to block the suns light, so everything looked great. It turned out to be an unusual sunset in that the light didn’t reach the cloud as I expected it would. Instead it lit up the landscape in this beautiful orange glow. When viewed on a large canvas, many of the peaks in the distance can be seen clearly, such as, Cat Bells, Scafell Pikes, Great Gable & Grisedale Pike.
