The Shooting Cabin, Leygatehead Moor
Probably one of the best known Shooting Cabins in the Peak District, due to its location on the Snake Path which runs from Hayfield upto Kinder Scout. I love the original signs which truly are synonymous with the Peak District. They have been embedded in my mind since being a child. To get this composition, I used a telephoto lens from quite a distance. I decided it worked really well as a colour popped image. When we had our gallery in Hayfield, this was one of my most popular canvases and it stayed in the window for months.
