We took our Cocker Spaniel Bob for a walk around Goyt Valley. The weather was overcast and no signs of any breaks in the cloud. I’d taken some shots of Bob but no landscapes as there was no good light to work with. Then out of nowhere a burst of light made its way through the clouds and down on to a hill known as Wild Moor lighting up the heather and this solitary tree. The light vanished as quickly as it had appeared. It’s moments like this that makes me always carry my camera with me when I can.
